Computed Tomography Technologist

Schedule

This position requires availability for a shift from Saturday 7:30 AM to Sunday 7:30 PM EST, totaling 36 hours.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, the Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing CT exams. This role involves the operation of CT equipment, maintenance of pertinent records, stocking of supplies, and organization of the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient care and safety during CT examinations.
• Utilize and maintain CT equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records related to CT procedures.
• Stock supplies and manage the organization of the imaging schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current CT and X-Ray experience in a hospital setting (required).
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications are preferred; must be willing to obtain if not currently active.
• Two supervisory references from the last two years of employment are required.
