Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, the Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for the care and safety of patients who have CT exams. This role includes the use of CT equipment, maintaining records pertaining to CT, stocking supplies, and organizing the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and care during CT exams.
• Operate CT equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records related to CT procedures.
• Manage inventory of supplies necessary for CT operations.
• Organize and manage the scheduling of CT exams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current CT and X-Ray experience in a hospital setting.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) certification are preferred (not required at time of submission, but must be willing to obtain).
• 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment are required.
