Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Days)

Job Description

We are seeking a certified Histotechnologist (HTL) for a travel assignment in our histology lab. The successful candidate will perform various histological procedures, including immunohistochemistry stains and troubleshooting of staining protocols. A minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting and HTL certification from ASCP is required.

Responsibilities

• Logging incoming tissues
• Embedding tissues for further processing
• Cutting tissue samples for staining
• Operating staining equipment
• Filing slides and cassettes accurately

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• HTL certification from ASCP (required)
• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting (required)
• Experience with IHC, special stains, and managing staining instrumentation (required)
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands (required)
