Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team on a temporary travel contract. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a 30-bed unit, following all floating requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide patient care in alignment with nursing best practices.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, IV insertions, Foley insertions, and point-of-care testing such as blood glucose monitoring.
• Assist with Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) as required.
• Document assessments, care provided, and patient outcomes thoroughly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
