Registered Nurse - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Full-time day shift. Three 12-hour day shifts per week, with holiday and weekend rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will plan and provide total patient care by utilizing the nursing process, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The RN will also direct and guide patient teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement patient care plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Supervise ancillary personnel and support their activities in patient care.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Experience preferred, but not required.
