Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Telemetry unit will provide nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions who require telemetry monitoring. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State license.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Epic charting experience within the last 6 months is a must.
• One recent reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required.
