Schedule

Day shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

This position is for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong clinical background and the ability to manage multiple patients with varying medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and health status.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and discharge plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months is required.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
