ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care nursing. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult patients in the ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide care to ventilated patients and manage arterial lines, central lines, and IVs.
• Assist with chest tube insertion and removal, as well as procedural sedation administration.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements.
• Participate in weekend rotations and on-call as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Current nursing license in New Mexico or compact state license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
