Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts (Day: 07:00 - 19:30; Night: 19:00 - 07:30) with D/N rotating shifts, subject to operational needs.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Stepdown unit with the potential to float to J1-2, J33, and the ED. The position requires strong experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and managing changes effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Stepdown or similar specialty prior to application.
• Must possess a permanent Ohio BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification at the time of submission.
• Licensed in Ohio or possess a compact state license.
• Previous stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.
