Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing excellent patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The RN will work in a fast-paced setting, administering care to telemetry patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of care. Flexibility is required, as shifts may rotate to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist with patient education and support family involvement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent RN experience in specialty applying for prior to travel assignments.
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
