3x12-Hour rotating shifts: Day (07:00 - 19:30) and Night (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, ensuring high standards of nursing practice are maintained. The role requires adept clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ cardiac status and respond to telemetry alerts.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
