OB Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week with rotating schedules.

Job Description

The OB Registered Nurse will provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery. Candidates must exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a commitment to patient and family-centered care. Nurses are trained across various competencies and will be expected to float among units to meet the variable needs of volume and acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to high, moderate, and low-risk OB patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery.
• Participate in ongoing training and orientation across various competencies/modes of care.
• Float among units to meet the needs of the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York RN License
• Minimum of two (2) years of labor and delivery experience
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification
