Job Description

CVHCare is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience. Home health experience is preferred for this role, which encompasses serving patients in the designated county territories.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine visits and patient evaluations, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care.
• Manage a caseload efficiently and provide support to patients through therapy interventions.
• Be willing to travel outside the area to fulfill service needs and patient requests.
• Comply with safety and health regulations, including handling patients with COVID-19 when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current California PTA License.
• BLS Certification.
• Drivers License and Auto Insurance.
• Annual TB test, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), and annual Flu vaccine.
• Completion of drug screening and physical examination.
