Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit. The position involves rotating between units as needed. Candidates must possess a valid PA or Compact license along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Patient care management of adults and geriatrics in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• PA or Compact RN license in hand.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
