Registered Nurse - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with weekends as needed (likely every other weekend).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care within the AYA offer unit, ensuring clinical needs are met while adhering to WellSpan guidelines. The role includes potential care for COVID patients and may require floating to all medical-surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs
• Managing intravenous and other therapeutic lines
• Providing post-operative care and education to patients
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is required
• Must be able to float to various departments as needed
