Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI/MRA procedures including, but not limited to, brain, abdomen, spine, cardiac, breast, orbit, and soft tissue imaging. The technologist will operate GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI equipment and utilize the Meditech documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI/MRA scans according to protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Document procedures accurately within the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required.
• ARRT MRI registered certification is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required.
