Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, managing the comprehensive needs of patients with various diagnoses while ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings, responding to changes and initiating appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatment plans as prescribed.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Must possess an active Ohio RN license or valid compact state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One supervisory reference required for submission.
