Job Description

The Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services as directed by medical staff. This role involves the execution of both diagnostic and therapeutic care for inpatients and outpatients following established protocols and departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas systems.
• Maintain patient airways and manage ventilator settings.
• Perform intubations and arterial blood gas analyses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience in ICU, general floors, and emergency department (ED) settings is essential.
• Minimal experience in NICU and pediatric care sufficient to cover emergencies in the ED.
