Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC)

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 and 48 hours per week available, with a requirement of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide essential support to patients in the Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC). This role is crucial in delivering quality care and ensuring a positive patient experience in a 36-bed unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status and react appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
