Med Surg Float Pool Registered Nurse

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 hours per week available. Requires 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool. The ideal candidate will be capable of floating between all Med Surg Tele units, demonstrating adaptability and a high level of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in various Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver the best patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Float as needed to support various departments within the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
