Registered Nurse - Night Shift Float

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, scheduled for 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation. Hours are not guaranteed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between various medical and surgical units, providing patient care in compliance with established protocols. Candidates must hold an active State of Hawaii license upon acceptance of the offer, with no exceptions accepted for medical or religious exemptions regarding proof of immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and manage pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital policies.
• Participate in the orientation and training programs as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 to 10 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are a plus.
• Active Hawaii RN license required before starting the assignment.
