Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Float

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. Note: There is no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in this float position, you will be responsible for providing nursing care across various medical and surgical units. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and will require flexibility to adapt to different units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in multiple clinical settings as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Active Hawaii RN License is required by the start of the assignment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred.
