Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday. No call required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative services across all patient populations. As a patient advocate, you will uphold surgical standards of nursing practice while maintaining priorities and effectively organizing your workload. Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and implement age-specific care and interactions.
• Complete head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Reassess pain and utilize appropriate pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team in patient/family assessment.
• Provide leadership and work cooperatively with nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program.
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
