X-Ray and CT Tech

This is a night shift position, 5 days a week from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray and CT Tech to provide high-quality imaging services in a combined role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic X-Ray exams including chest, abdomen, extremities, and spine.
• Conduct CT exams, including routine head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA's of head/carotid, and PE studies.
• Manage patient care in adult acute care and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with emergency department staff to address urgent diagnostic needs.
• Document and maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient interactions.
• Administer contrast media as required, following protocols for patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray and CT Technologist.
• Must hold ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT) as well as a current BLS certification.
• NY State License required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
• Experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings is essential.
• Proficiency in performing portable X-Ray procedures.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
