Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, debilitating conditions, and brain injuries. Your focus will be on assisting patients in regaining their highest level of independence and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Manage a diverse patient load with a focus on safety and dignity.
• Provide educational support to patients and families throughout the recovery process.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation technologies to facilitate patient recovery.
• Float to long-term acute care as needed to manage patients with medical-surgical needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferred in rehabilitation.
• Nursing licensure in the state of Texas.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI*, NIHSS* required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Must have experience with Epic charting system.
