Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00). Weekends required. Option of 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Night Nurse with at least 1 year of experience for a travel position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care for critically ill patients in the ICU. The nurse will be required to float between units as needed and to maintain a patient ratio of 1:2.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care for ICU patients with complex medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the medical team.
• Assist with procedures and manage medical devices, including ventilators and IVs.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an ICU setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with critical care procedures and protocols.
• Pending New Mexico license accepted, but must be obtained prior to start.
