Shifts available: 3x12-hour rotating shifts, either Days (07:00 - 19:30) or Nights (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry RN will provide care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring in a medical/surgical setting. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care and respond to any emergencies effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate training during orientation.
