Step Down / Med-Surg Nurse - Night Shift

Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

We are seeking qualified candidates for the Step Down / Med-Surg unit. This position will involve providing high-quality care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a step down environment and the ability to manage multiple patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the step down and med-surg units.
• Perform trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes.
• Utilize lifts and monitor stable ventilated patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Experience working with trachs is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
