This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with 2-3 weekend days as needed.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist actively monitors and amends patient visit schedules to maximize productivity and patient need. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments of patients, developing plans of care, providing skilled physical therapy treatment, coordinating care with clinical team members, and supervising clinical activities of support staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and amend patient visit schedules to maximize productivity.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of assigned patients.
• Develop plans of care to promote optimal functional independence and safety.
• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment and patient education.
• Coordinate patient care with clinical team members.
• Supervise and direct activities of PTAs, PT students, and home care aides.
• Complete and coordinate required documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in in-service training programs for various stakeholders.
• Engage in marketing and promotion of Rehab services.
• Coordinate patient discharges and transfers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current Physical Therapy license and relevant experience in patient care settings are preferred.
