Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. No call required.

Job Description

Join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as a Registered Nurse (RN), where you will provide critical care to children with complex health issues. The PICU team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while ensuring a healthy and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Perform and assist with various procedures, including but not limited to, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and seizure monitoring.
• Provide family-centered care through education, support, and open communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in Texas.
• Certifications: PALS and BLS required.
• Previous PICU experience is mandatory, specifically with vents and drips.
