Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work during night shifts. Candidates must possess an active Ohio license or a compact state license and certifications in BLS and ACLS, with a willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to starting the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor cardiac patients and interpret ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and monitor changes in patient's condition.
• Complete required training modules and assessments during orientation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel.
• Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are needed.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
