Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an active PTA state license and have experience working in an Acute Care setting. This position does not require on-call duties, weekends, or block scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care and manage a patient load according to established ratios.
• Document patient progress and updates in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system is required.
