Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for supporting the rehabilitation of patients in the operating room setting, utilizing their expertise in therapies and modalities as per the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans for patients with physical therapy needs.
• Collaborate with physical therapists to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises and equipment use.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hygiene standards in the clinical setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid state PTA license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
