This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week; Monday to Friday with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will support both vascular and neuro procedures. The role requires proficiency in monitoring hemodynamic parameters, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient confidentiality throughout the processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring.
• Observe sterile technique for all procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide essential documentation.
• Prepare entry sites using sterile procedures.
• Continuously monitor patients' ECG and blood pressure during procedures.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotations.
• Document procedures accurately and utilize billing systems.
• Instruct radiography students on imaging techniques.
• Maintain specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures.
• Participate in inventory management and performance improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (R) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
