This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, with 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call requirements include 1-2 shifts per week, plus every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will cover both vascular and neuro procedures, working with a range of advanced imaging equipment. This role involves essential patient monitoring and support during complex procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data.
• Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Prepare entry sites following sterile protocols.
• Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure during all procedures, documenting findings accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotation and be available for emergency procedures 24/7.
• Act as part of the code team, initiating resuscitation measures under physician supervision.
• Document procedures accurately and ensure proper inventory management.
• Participate in educational opportunities and instruct radiography students.
• Maintain specialization in neuroradiology and vascular IR procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Radiation badge provided by the agency.
