Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing exceptional care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care. The Registered Nurse must maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and effectively delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two to five years of nursing experience required.
• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Must possess a Missouri RN license or a multi-state RN license.
