Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry RN to join our inpatient overflow unit, which accommodates a mix of medical surgical and step-down patients with a short stay target (24-hour length of stay). This unit features a telemetry monitoring system where all patients are hardwired to bedside monitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to telemetry readings as necessary.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure a high standard of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (Cerner).
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by demonstrating compassion and teamwork.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry competency is required.
• Progressive Care experience is a must.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
