Nursing Position - Oncology Med/Surg Unit

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with 2-3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Oncology Med/Surg unit, where you will have the opportunity to care for patients undergoing treatment such as high-dose chemotherapy and stem cell infusions. You will work with a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and electrolyte replacements.
• Maintain central lines and ensure compliance with CLABSI prevention protocols.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during treatments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have: Med/Surg experience.
• Preferred: Oncology experience, especially in bone marrow transplant.
• Required Certification: BLS.
