ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Float Pool (Day Shift) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Schedule/Shift

This position is for Day Shift, working 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, three days a week, with guaranteed hours of 36 weekly.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool will provide care on all PCU and IMCU floors, primarily focusing on patients with cardiac conditions. This role includes managing STEMI, NSTEMI, and related conditions while administering cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors. The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds in the same unit with lower acuity levels, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4 on the PCU/IMCU floors.
• Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients, including those with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain.
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips and other IV therapies.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in floating to various units as required, ensuring seamless patient care across different settings.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility with a focus on cardiac care.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
