ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Home Health Hospice (Day Shift) in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position is a Day Shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with approximately 5 visits scheduled per day. There is no weekend requirement.

Job Description

This is a Home Health Hospice RN position with Lehigh Valley Home Care and Hospice Pocono, providing care to patients throughout Monroe and Pike Counties. The average daily census is approximately 45 patients, primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics with terminal diagnoses and a life expectancy of six months or less.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine visits, start-of-care visits, and assessments for significant changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate services and complete clinical assessment documentation.
• Provide strong palliative symptom and pain management.
• Perform wound care, pressure ulcer management, and drain management.
• Manage feeding tubes, G-tubes, NG tubes, ostomies, and urinary catheters.
• Administer medications including IM, IV, and subcutaneous medications.
• Deliver peripheral and central line care, including phlebotomy.
• Handle respiratory care procedures, including chest tube/PleurX management, nebulizer education, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care.
• Follow post-death protocols as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of RN/Home Health experience is required.
• Hospice case management and admission assessment experience are also required.

Certifications/Licensure

• CHPN certification is preferred.
• Must have a valid Pennsylvania RN license.
