ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Acute Care Hospital (Evening Shift) in Rockville, Maryland.

Part Time: 2:00 PM - 8:30 PM, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide essential therapy services in an acute care hospital setting, focusing on the rehabilitation of adults and geriatric patients. The therapist will assess patient needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Experience with the Cerner charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patient physical conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress using Cerner or alternative charting systems.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize assistive devices and techniques for mobility and safety.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must possess an active Maryland or Compact license.
• Experience in an inpatient or acute care setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Physical Therapy license in Maryland or Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
