Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, every other weekend required.

Job Description

In this role, you will provide direct care to patients with mental health conditions, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, administering medications, and offering therapeutic communication. You will be responsible for closely monitoring patient well-being and providing crisis intervention as needed. Educating patients and their families about treatment and recovery processes is also a key component of your role, alongside maintaining accurate records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to foster a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
• Provide therapeutic communication and crisis intervention.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Adult Behavioral Health.
• No previous disciplinary actions.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required prior to start.
• Handle with Care Certification is preferred.
• DHS fingerprinting will be required (link will be provided by the employer).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
