Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Job Description

Join the dedicated Respiratory Services team at Mission Hospital, the flagship hospital of Mission Health. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings, including adult and pediatric services. Utilizing advanced equipment such as GE R860 adult vents and Draeger infant/peds vents, you will play a critical role in supporting patients' respiratory needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care treatments and therapies to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner EMR system.
• Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Required Experience

• Current North Carolina Respiratory License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

Certifications/Licensure

• North Carolina Respiratory License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP certification preferred.
