ARMStaffing is looking for a CT/Rad Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging (Night Shift) in York, Maine.

Schedule/Shift

Full Time - 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Job Description

The CT/Rad Technologist will provide high-quality imaging services to patients of various age groups, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure. This role will involve operating CT and X-ray equipment, assisting radiologists, and adhering to radiation safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately for X-ray and CT exams utilizing immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast.
• Evaluate images for quality, ensure they are labeled appropriately, and maintain sequence of exposure.
• Perform clerical functions such as charging procedures, documenting patient records, and managing supplies.
• Provide oral contrast to patients and operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Monitor accessory equipment during fluoroscopic and special radiographic procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and departmental protocols.

Required Experience

• Associates degree or certificate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility, along with a current Maine state license.
• BLS certification obtained within four months of hire and maintained thereafter.
• CT license required to be obtained within one year of hire.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT registered or registry eligible.
