ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Infusion (Day Shift) in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with 8-hour shifts dependent upon department needs. There is no weekend coverage.

Job Description

This Infusion role involves providing care to oncology patients, administering chemotherapy, handling body fluids post-chemotherapy, and managing intravenous (IV) therapies. Candidates should be skilled in chemotherapy administration and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as needed.
• Handle body fluids post-chemotherapy following safety protocols.
• Provide care and management of ports and IV access devices.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience

• One year of experience in oncology or a related field.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and infusion processes.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required.
• New York state nursing license must be in hand to submit.
• EPIC experience is a required hard skill.
• Experience with BECON is preferred.
