Schedule/Shift

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with 8-hour shifts as needed by the department. No Saturday shifts required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Infusion department at the Lipson Cancer Center. You will work primarily in an infusion center with potential floating to other infusion locations. The ideal candidate will support patient care in a fast-paced oncology environment, administering chemotherapy and managing various infusion-related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
• Manage and care for ports and PICC lines, ensuring their proper functioning.
• Provide intravenous hydration and multivitamin infusions.
• Handle body fluids post-chemotherapy following safety protocols.
• Utilize EPIC for patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in oncology nursing or infusion.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• Current New York state nursing license is required.
