Schedule/Shift

8-hour Evening Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for transporting carts with equipment from the main facility to a decontamination trailer, approximately 1000 steps one way, multiple times per shift due to ongoing construction in the Sterile Processing department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper decontamination and sterilization processes are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of sterile processing activities.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and supply levels.
• Comply with safety and infection control standards.

Required Experience

• Sterile Processing Technician Certification.
• 2+ years of recent experience in sterile processing within a hospital setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Sterile Processing Technician Certification (equivalency accepted).
