ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Rotating 4x10s / 5x8s) in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shifts include rotating schedules of 4x10 hours or 5x8 hours, with times from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Call shifts are included.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will provide patient care for a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The focus will be on assisting with various surgical procedures across different specialties including Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, and Orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high standards of care.
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation.
• Respond to emergencies in the surgical setting.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in the Operating Room.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:1.
• Travel experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Flu vaccine required, with exceptions for medical or religious reasons.
