This position offers a 12-hour night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the PCU will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ vital signs and conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
Required Experience
Candidates must possess a valid RN license and should have previous experience in a PCU or similar acute care setting.
Certifications/Licensure
Current RN license in North Carolina is required.
