Monday to Friday, no weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Radiation Oncology will provide comprehensive care to patients diagnosed with cancer. This role requires experience in IV and port access, with a focus on administering radiation therapy and managing associated procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy and other treatments to patients.
• Monitor patient progress and manage side effects.
• Document patient care accurately within the EHR system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care options.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required.
• Previous experience in Radiation Oncology preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current New York State Nursing License required at time of submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
